NEXT PTA MEETING
Tuesday May 14
Our last meeting of 2013 will be held on Tuesday May 14 and will be very
brief, but include voting in of a new co-president as Ruben's term is up this
year.
The brief meeting will give way to an Open House Farewell Party for Ms.
Eller, which will be open to all our Bel Air family.
The PTA meeting will be
held from 6 to 6:30 and the Open House Farewell will be from 6:30 to 8, both
held in the IMC. Child care available. (Please remember that PTA meetings will be held on Tuesday nights this year.)

There is strong research that supports the fact that students are more likely to succeed in school if their parents are actively involved in their child's education. For many of us, due to work schedules, it is not possible to volunteer in classrooms on a regular basis or attend field trips.
So, if school day involvement doesn't work, why not try to meet other parents and get to know teachers outside of the classroom setting through attendance at PTA meetings? These informal and very informative sessions will keep you up to date with school events and activities.
We welcome your ideas at these meetings.
