About Chippewa Middle School
- The students of
Chippewa continually display academic excellence. This excellence is
demonstrated with test scores that are some of the highest in the state
year after year.
- Chippewa
Middle School offers a wonderful educational experience to 932
students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Students have seven classes with
six of the classes meeting each day. Students spend most of their six
period day in core classes: math, science, language arts, social
studies, and reading. The remainder of their day is in physical
education, art, computer technology, health, technology applications, Spanish, or music.
- The climate of Chippewa provides a positive and
supportive environment in which students can explore, learn, grow, and use
their skills to become independent learners and thinkers. Chippewa is a
place where students and the school community link into the larger real
world.
- Chippewa Middle School is
located on a 49 acre site in the village of North Oaks, Minnesota and
serves the communities of Arden Hills, North Oaks, Shoreview, and Vadnais
