Author Mary Bleckwehl visits Sunnyside!

Sunnyside kindergarten through second graders are excited to welcome Minnesota author Mary Bleckwehl to our school on Tuesday, June 4th.  Mary will be sharing her work and talking about the writing process.  She'll also be selling autographed copies of her books, Henry!  You're Late AGAIN! and Henry!  You're Hungry Again?.

Community Education Summer Camps

Art, Science, Discovery, Dance, and Athletics; we have it all!

Keep your children busy this summer. It’s not too late to register for the many Summer Camps that the Mounds View Schools, Community Education Department offers. Classes are available to students entering grades 1 – 12 in Fall 2013. We welcome students from outside the school district as well.

Most of our students live in the communities of Mounds View and New Brighton.  Sunnyside staff are committed to challenging all students at their instructional level.  We offer a full range of academic services which include Band, Orchestra, Title1, Special Education, High Performing Math and Reading, while implementing instructional interventions including Guided Reading, Read Naturally, and Math- Ability.  We also offer an array of before and after school activities/programs.

We have a wonderful school community where parents and staff work together to help children learn and grow.  We have the coolest kids anywhere. Stop by and see us.
