Hello,
   Welcome to Sunnyside!  My name is Ms. Bengston, and I am looking forward to seeing all the students in  music classes!  I  have my class schedule and concert dates posted for the school year below.

  The vision for music education in Mounds View is that all students will realize their highest musical potential.  They will have access to a comprehensive, sequential music curriculum, and all students will have opportunities to participate in a wide variety of options for music learning.

  Classroom music instruction includes experiences in singing, performing, listening, movement, playing classroom instruments, improvisation, note reading, and world music - also, understanding music in relation to history and culture.

 Daily Schedule:

9:15 - 10:10 - Grade 4
10:15 - 11:10 - Grade 5
12:05 - 1:00 - Grade 3
1:05 - 2:00 - Grade 1
2:05 - 3:00 - Grade 2

Thursday, November  8, 2012 - Grades 1 and 2 Vocal Music Concert - 6:30 p.m. at Sunnyside

Thursday, April 11, 2013 - Grades 3, 4 and 5 Vocal Music Concert - 6:30 p.m. at Sunnyside



 Messages pertaining to up-coming concerts will be sent home with students.
